The Alfa Romeo 147 is a small family car built with a hatchback body that has replaced the 145/146 models. 147 was named Car of the Year in 2001. The 147 is produced on a larger sedan 156 chassis and has 1.6, 2.0-liter linear four-cylinder petrol engines and a 1.9-liter diesel engine. Designed by Walter de’Silva and Wolfgang Egger, the 147 was universally recognized as an attractive car and has won several design awards. In 2004, the 147 was upgraded - the front became more aggressive and more similar to the new 159 and Brera models. Despite criticism of the somewhat too light steering wheel, which makes drivers feel less secure but helps maneuver in tight parking lots, the 147’s handling has also been praised. Another 147 criticisms relate to lack of space inside and sporty seats, with poor lateral support. In addition, the car, like the usual Alfa Romeo, suffers from poor residual value. It should be mentioned that the most powerful 147 variant had a powerful 3.2 GTA V6 engine with 184 kW (250 hp) / 6200 rpm and 300 Nm / 4800 rpm of torque, this model accelerates to 100km / h in 6.3 s.
The well-designed Alfa Romeo 147 was chosen in 2001 as the European Mondeo and Toyota Prius for the European Car of the Year.
The Alfa Romeo 147 was once one of the longest-running models in Europe - it was only replaced in 2010 by the Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
  • The Alfa Romeo 147 has won more than 27 different awards, including:
  • 2011 European Car of the Year;
  • 2000 Das Goldene Lenkrad - Golden Steering Wheel Award from the German magazine BILD is SONNTAG;
  • Award of the German magazine Auto Bild in 2001;
  • Design Award for the French magazine Trophées du design in 2000;
  • The best imported car in Brazil in 2002.

walk a very long distance. I had a 2006 berods of diesel. There was no period for someone to fail. A very ingenious machine in that field, able to find more and more new things that would fail. One day, after the last repair, I to...

Alfa Romeo 147 1.9JTD 2007

Good nice reliable car. In 2 years only the chassis had to be repaired. JTD engines are reliable, electricity is good. It heats well in winter, no whimsy in the cold. It drives hard, definitely better than German or Japanese cars ...

Engine, fuel consumption, car design
Weak chassis, overturning
The car?s power and driving pleasure redeems all the downsides. The engine and electronics are still working well (I have a car for two years), most of the trouble is with the chassis, but storing and changing everything in time s...

Engine, control, design
It took me two years to drive the 2007 Alfa 147. It left a really good impression. First of all, Alpha is synonymous with great design. Every day it is fun to sit in such a masterpiece of design. Both the facelift and the new mode...

Very nice, nice to drive while driving
Everything else - nothing works and a headache - don?t buy better
The car is very nice and very nice to drive. But the defect in it is more than can be described. Only you manage to fix one, other defects start. Very unreliable electronics, I handled several times, prices space because access is...

Economical, appearance
Turning, electrical faults, interior layout, gearbox, parts to look for
Much good to say about 147 doesn?t come in unless someone likes the look. The alpha part is pretty hard to find. I had to pay 70 ? for the bearing. The car itself is rattling, feel every pit, as well as the design of the cabin tui...

Design, comfort, driving pleasure, lots of electronics, eye-catching
Weak suspension, electrical faults (tolerable) frequent minor defects, hard chassis, weak sound insulation
Hello, We had this car in the family for 8 months before the accident. So I impressed left enough. Undeniably, the design of the car is great, after this day people very often pay attention to the red beautiful car. interior trim ...

Alpha romeo. I don't know what drives through the music with me, but I pass through the passing alpha most of the time. I had everything in full in 1.5 years. It's just a car that tends to crumble and crumble so much that it tears...

Alfa Romeo 147 1.9 JTD 85kW '04

Good design, nice ride, good and economical engines, low price in the market (compared to similar price competitors).
Very poor electronics, weak suspension, water and moisture permeability, high depreciation, the value of the machine does not match its operating caste.
The car itself is eye-catching enough, very pleasant to drive, but that?s where the pleasures end. Suspension - really sensitive to Lithuanian conditions, original parts are not cheap (alternatives are usually very unreliable, unl...

Had to have 147 model in the 2001 edition of 1.6 gasoline. I can say that the design, body shape is beautiful and the interior is good. As a car of this year, really not bad. Everything else: fuel consumption - a nightmare (11 ltr...

impeccable appearance, comfortable seats, good interior materials, dynamic innovative engines, stable sports suspension, good handling, excellent anti-corrosion protection, good price.
metallic rubber suspension elements, timing belt, brake system, selespeed automatic transmission, poor interior quality.
Lack of space both in the front and in the rear seat, which are with very good support, like a recaro, though not a recaro. Small trunk, but the rear seat can be folded down. The car is very suitable for a sporty, hard suspension,...

Great everyday racing car - good handling, great engine, very sharp suspension.
Expensive details. Inexpensive and repair itself. I do not buy such a car for the last money.
The car has a great design as a rare car in this class. The facelift version with a larger triangular radiator grille looks especially good (but the lights on the latest facelift don?t go very well for me). I?m an Alpha fan half m...
