The Alfa Romeo 155 is a compact car that has replaced the 75 model and is built on a Fiat Tipo platform. 155 was designed by the Italian design company I.D.E.A Institute, and the car's air resistance coefficient is exceptional for the car of that time - 0.29. The most significant technical change compared to the 75 was that the 155 became powered by the front wheels. This decision was heavily criticized, but 155 proved its worth on the race tracks. The most powerful version of the 155 Q4 had a 2.0-liter, 16V turbo engine with permanent four-wheel drive - both of which borrowed from the legendary Integrale. In fact, it was the Lancia Integrale with just a different body. This Alfa had a power of up to 190 hp (140 kW). Production of the 155 ceased in 1998 when it was replaced by the 156, which moved away from the original Alfa Romeo style of sharp, angled shapes. 155 earned its image on the race tracks - the GTA V6 TI DTM was a huge success at the body car championships - 155 managed to win the Italian Superturismo Championship, the German DTM Championship (both with Nicola Larini at the wheel), the Spanish Touring Car Championship (with Adrian Campos) and the British Touring Car Championship (with Gabriele Tarquini) in 1992, 1993 and 1994!
The Alfa Romeo 155 achieves an extremely good air resistance coefficient of 0.29.

Alfa Romeo 155 achieved excellent results in the European Touring Car Championships. Alfa Romeo 155 managed to win the Italian Superturismo Championship, the German DTM Championship (both with Nicola Larini at the wheel), the Spanish Touring Car Championship (with Adrian Campos) and the British Touring Car Championship (with Gabriele Tarquini) in 1992, 1993 and 1994. In 1996, Alfa Romeo 155 won a total of 38 victories - a total of 38 victories.

The 1996 racing version 155 had a 2.5-liter V6 engine with 490 hp (360kW) at 11,900 rpm and a top speed of about 300 km / h.
