Here is the car that the whole of Lithuania and not only Lithuania is waiting for. Car premieres of such importance are very welcome, as they give meaning to everything the car manufacturer is best able to do. Indeed, the new Audi A6 looks quite interesting - the car has retained fairly tight lines, acquired the sportiness noticeable in more aggressive lines, brightly pronounced wheel arch lines, larger bumpers with many air vents and the like. Well, no car has been fundamentally changed, cars of such importance are usually evolving. We believe that we still need new winds in Audi cars, we need a vision in which direction the company and its most important models should move. Audi understands this perfectly and focuses not on design or meaningless changes, but on high technology. The new Audi MMI user interface, which works on two large LCD screens, is extremely well designed to be unpleasant or difficult to use. Everything has to provide a feeling of pleasure, so the touch-sensitive screens are extremely precise, simulating the operation of physical buttons by vibrating and emitting sound. The Audi A6 parameter settings are extremely precisely selected for each driver via the touch-sensitive MMI control system, and up to 7 different profiles can be saved, with up to 400 individual settings to choose from. The multimedia system is controlled at the top of the screen, and the bottom of the screen is for climate control control, text input and comfort function settings. There is also a third screen, the already familiar Audi Virtual Cockpit digital instrument panel, although it does not come with all modifications to the Audi A6. Like the A8, the A6 is available with everything Audi knows about autonomous driving. The car can have five radar sensors, five cameras, twelve ultrasonic sensors and a laser scanner. This enables the operation of many systems, such as adaptive cruise control, active lane keeping assistance and a self-parking system, as well as a system that scans obstacles on the car's road in an urban environment. The new Audi A6 is sportier than the previous model, thanks to advanced suspension solutions. The response of the standard progressive and sporty steering system has become even more precise when the wheels are turned at a greater angle, and the new suspension system provides even more intuitive control of the car. Maneuverability, precise control and greater comfort are achieved through a dynamic all-wheel drive system. Driving quality is another area where the new A6 is commendable. The suspension of the previous generation A6 worked a little too hard, transmitting road bumps to the cabin quite roughly. Clearly, Audi has heard criticism and improved the suspension. One area where it’s hard to praise the new A6 is steering performance. Although it works with enough precision, the "synthetic" cut remains, the gap is felt. And unfortunately, for many years Audi has not been able to catch up with the constant market leader - the BMW 5 Series. Banal, but it already is. The new Audi A6 makes its debut with two powerful TFSI and TDI engines. The petrol 3.0 TFSI V6 turbo petrol engine reaches 250 kW (340 hp) and 500 Nm and from 0 to 100 km / h. allows you to accelerate in just 5.1 seconds. The 3.0 TDI turbodiesel engine achieves 210 kW (286 hp) and 620 Nm of torque and provides no worse dynamics. All engines in the new Audi A6 feature partial hybrid technology, in which the starter-generator works in conjunction with a lithium-ion battery. Thanks to this system, the engine can be switched off briefly at speeds between 55 and 160 km / h. the start-stop system is activated when the speed drops to 22 km / h. In real driving conditions, this system saves up to 0.7 l / 100 km. It has so far only been introduced in the high-end A8 and A7 models.
