The new RS4 has launched a new line in the RS car range - now this road car is produced not only in a station wagon, but also in a sedan and convertible. Unlike before, when the RS4 or RS2 versions were only produced with station wagon bodies (previously only the RS6 was produced with station wagon and sedan bodies). The Audi RS4 is a limited series sports car and is the most powerful of the A4 series, more powerful than the S4 model. The new RS4 sedan accelerates from 0-100 km / h in 4.8 seconds, although tests have shown even better results, and 200 km / h is reached in 16.6 seconds. The engine is now an atmospheric 4.2-liter V8 32-valve FSI aluminum unit that loves high revs and has 4 valves per cylinder instead of the previous 5. Each cylinder block has a DOHC head and uses a variable valve control system. This monster has 420 hp (309 kW) of power and 430 Nm of torque, and 90 percent of all torque is achieved between 2250 and 7600 rpm. Like all Audi RS cars, this one has the most advanced Audi technology and is powered by a quattro permanent all-wheel drive system that is now not symmetrical and distributes power in a 40:60 front / rear ratio under normal conditions. This should give the car a neutral cornering behavior, as well as a more dynamic feel. From the outside, there are significant changes compared to the standard A4 - wider wings, large air vents, huge R19 wheels, RS4 badges, more aerodynamic mirrors. The front fenders and bonnet are made of aluminum. The car looks impressive and won't really mix with the "civilian" A4. In 2007, the Audi RS4 was named World Sports Car of the Year, beating out rivals such as the Audi S6, Porsche 911 Turbo, Porsche 911 GT3, Ferrari 599 GTB and Jaguar XKR.
