BMW 8 Series, 2018 - present
Wow, an impressive station car! For many years we were accustomed to seeing the BMW 6 Series as the most expressive of all BMWs, but now this place has been given up to a new king. Many BMWs have similarities to sharks, both in terms of design and character. Well, the BMW 8 Series Kogero would be the size of a white shark. True, the appearance of this newcomer was easy to predict, as the BMW 850 was once produced in the eight, so the newcomer can legitimately be considered his successor and direct specific to the long-established Merdedes-Benz CL coupe models (which later became simply S-Class Coupe). Will the BMW 8 Series be the best of all BMWs? We don't think - remembering the story again, we see that there was such a supercar as the BMW S1. It is the name of the S1 that will be given to the most powerful of all BMWs. The body of the BMW 8 is 4.84 m long, 1.9 m wide and 1.34 m high. Despite its sporty silhouette, it is a true GT-class coupe, as evidenced by its long wheelbase, which is as long as 2.82 m. High-quality and beautifully designed interiors highlight the drivers' favorite BMW Head-Up Display technology, an additional screen projected on the windscreen that displays basic travel information or navigation instructions. Now this projection screen is 16 percent. larger than other BMWs, its 3D graphics have been optimized and the function display has been updated. The most powerful version is the M850i xDrive Coupe M Performance with a solid 530 hp V8 engine so far it is the most powerful and fastest member of this family before the M8. The maximum torque of this engine - 750 Nm - is achieved from 1,800 to 4,600 rpm. limits. The car has Valvetronic and Double-VANOS systems that optimize petrol injection. This system increases engine power to 68 hp and adds no extra pounds. The BMW 8 Series also has a different engine for quiet cruising, the 840d xDrive Coupe, a 320-horsepower diesel six-cylinder engine. The BMW 8 Series was developed in parallel with the BMW M8 and the BMW M8 GTE racing car. So it will be interesting to see what this "shark" will look like on the race tracks.
