Yes, the M5 has gotten even better. The M5, introduced in 2005 under code E60, has an atmospheric 5.0 L V10 engine with a red speed line at 8250 rpm, maximum power of 507 hp (373 kW) / 7750 rpm and 519 Nm / 6100 rpm of torque. The car has a reinforced aluminum chassis and a 7-speed SMG III manual transmission, which, while extremely responsive on the ring road, is a bit rough for everyday use. Designed by the controversial Chris Bangle, the car has a truly non-boring design - intricately front headlights, beautifully crafted taillights, and a trunk lid that forms like a second floor at the rear of the car. The interior is no less interesting, very similar to the flagship of the 7 series and has nothing to do with the older 5 series. The style of the car is really unique, and the M spoilers give a kind of roughness. The M5 features an F1-inspired engine, transmission control, starting and dynamic stability control systems, and a gearbox that can be automatic or human-operated. The manual transmission can be operated either with a gear lever mounted in a standard position or controlled by levers behind the steering wheel. The car also has a power boost button on the steering wheel that activates one of three modes: P400 (limiting the engine to 400 hp - suitable for everyday driving), P500 (giving a full 507 hp), and P500 S (full power and even sharper response) to press the accelerator). The M5 doesn’t even have front fog lights to get more air needed for the engine. The data of this beast - acceleration 0-100 km / h in 4.7 s, maximum speed without electronic speed limiter 330 km / h. Among the criticisms are the very sporty behavior of the car (somewhat too sharp for everyday use) and the excessive consumption of fuel.
