While this is the most solid of all the Cadillac models currently in production, the company avoids calling it the flagship. We had a flagship Cadillac XTS, now a CT6, maybe in the near future we will have an even bigger and more solid Cadillac. Thus, the new big Cadillac has a typical company-specific design that is not very different from other Cadillac models. On the other hand, a car of this size and importance does not have to attract attention with unexpected design decisions, it has to draw attention to itself simply by its proportions. The Cadillac CT6, contrary to American traditions, desires to be less noticeable, more focused on minimalist design solutions. Despite the large proportions, the car is extremely light thanks to the abundant use of aluminum. And the smallest of the engines doesn't sound American either - it's a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbo engine generating 265 hp. Rear-wheel drive, all-wheel drive system capable of distributing power in 40/60 or 20/80 or 50/50 (front / rear) ratios, high-quality interior, horizontal design panel, almost perfectly comfortable seats - all sound very modern and… European . Cadillac seems to be quietly but seriously applying to ruin the life of a trio of German-representative cars.
