The name "Spark" in Lithuanian means "spark". Will the little Chevrolet spark a spark in the mini car market, or maybe light a real fire? The car is built on the GM Gamma platform, a joint effort of GM and Daewoo engineers, and is the first Chevrolet in such a small class. The Spark has a twin brother, the Daewoo Matiz, and is equipped with a 1.0- or 1.2-liter gasoline engine. The design of the car should not leave anyone indifferent - the car is expressive, dynamic, bold lines with a massive Chevrolet-style grille in the front, large air vents in the bumper, expressive protrusions of the bonnet. At the rear there are quite attractive headlights, the rear door handles are hidden. Although design is a matter of taste, but one cannot disagree that the car looks fresh and attractive. From the outside, the Spark looks small, but inside, it meets a surprisingly large space, with plenty of storage space for a wide variety of items. Still, the Spark is an economical car - this is true of the materials used inside, as well as the steering column has no adjustment, the suspension tends to "jump" on uneven roads, and the driver's position is not the most comfortable. This is forgivable for a car of this class, but the fact that the Spark does not have a diesel engine is already a serious drawback. Still, the car has to bribe future owners with easy handling, maneuverability, solid enough stability on the road and cabin space. It’s a really noteworthy city car.
