Ferrari 296 GTB, 2022 - present
The Ferrari 296 GTB is the first Ferrari with a six-cylinder engine since the 1974 Ferrari Dino model. The number 296 in the name of the new model means the displacement (2992 cc) and the number of cylinders (6), while the GTB stands for Gran Turismo Berlinetta. Gradually getting used to the smaller displacement and number of cylinders - the Ferrari 296 GTB is the first modern Ferrari. The Ferrari 296 GTB is powered by a 3.0 L (2992 cc) 120 ° V6 twin-turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 488 kW (654 hp) at 8,000 rpm, along with an electric motor of 123 kW (165 hp). The total power of the hybrid system is 610 kW (818 hp). The high-voltage battery is installed under the floor and has a capacity of 7.45 kWh and allows you to drive up to 25 km using only an electric motor. The car accelerates to 100 km / h in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of more than 330 km / h. Indeed, the 654 hp from the V6 engine sounds impressive and is not far behind the other 780 hp hybrid Ferrari SF90 Stradale engine. Only the latter is V8, and the working volume is one liter higher - 3990 cc. The key difference between these cars is that the larger Ferrari hybrid is powered by all four wheels. By the way, these two Ferrari are not only similar to the hybrid powertrain, but the body design is the same flat body pressed to the ground, the sharp-shaped headlights, the similar line of side windows and the air intake on the sides. The only difference is the rear, which is often the most characteristic part of Ferrari cars - the rear of the smaller Ferrari is less expressive.
