Fiat Cinquecento, 1991 - 1998
The Fiat Cinquecento is a front-wheel-drive, three-door mini city car that can accommodate up to four passengers. The attractive design of the car was created by the timid designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. Production of the Fiat Cinquecento began in 1992, when it replaced the extremely popular but outdated Fiat 126 model. The puppy was only produced with a 3-door hatchback body and was quite advanced at the time - it had an independent suspension, front disc brakes, side safety bars and safety deformation zones. This car was also available with a number of comfort features more common in larger cars, such as a central locking system, power windows, sunroof and air conditioning.
