The new Civic has become much larger both externally and internally. The car was manufactured with a hatchback body and equipped with larger engines. The new design was called the "bullet shape" and resembled a monovolume - this was done to provide greater stability. The new interior was distinguished by the fact that the gearshift lever was mounted in the very middle of the instrument panel next to the steering wheel. Standard engines, although less fond of high speeds, now have 20% more torque. The suspension has been changed from double wishbones to a simpler and less sporty MacPherson type. Although the rigidity of the car increased, as a result the weight of the car also increased, at the same time the dynamics decreased. The famous Type R version with a 2.0-liter DOHC VTEC engine and 200 hp was also produced. The biggest advantages of the car remain the same - economy, driving fun and reliability. Among the disadvantages is the loss of the previously mounted double wishbone suspension, which has now become simpler.

cheap operation, cheap repair, cheap insurance, great city car
uncomfortable on long trips, poor sound insulation

Of course it?s a city car. On long journeys, the back and arms become very tired, but you can suffer (you need to take frequent breaks). Maneuverable enough in the city, I haven't had any problems with parking yet. This car is not...

Low fuel consumption, very spacious, plenty of space for passengers, beautiful design, comfortable in the city. Someone race that little thing. Daiktadeziu is Very Lots and really very comfortable.
At very high altitudes (190cm +) it can be uncomfortable to drive as the seat recedes quite close. I am 181cm and almost all the way to the end, but there is plenty of room for the passenger. Poor sound insulation, very high degree of turning, quite cool

I have a car for 2.5 years. Brought from Italy by one landlord with 116,000 mileage in very good condition. The car is extremely capacious, although it may probably look completely different from abroad. There is an Audi A4 statio...

Quite comfortable (compared to older civilian rattles), comfortable in the city, quiet engine

Anyway, a good and comfortable car :) It seems to be done socially-democratically - to make it comfortable for a person - a lot of places to store small things, a comfortable gear lever protruding high from the panel. As a result,...

The seventh generation compact class Honda Civic has surprised all previous fans of this model. First of all, the Civic has never been tall and so civilized, so big. Many initially disliked it because of the higher-than-ever seat ...
