A cult car! The Honda CR-X is a compact front-wheel drive hatchback or coupe. First of all, it is noticeable that this is an extremely small car with 2 + 2 seats, although there would be little space in the back, even for children. The new model, which appeared in 1987, was similar to the old one, but had a completely independent two-link type suspension that the Civic models have. It is a very popular car among young people - economical, fast, very fast, well-controlled, just swallowing turns. The most powerful version had a DOHC VTEC engine with Variable Valve Timing and Lift, which provides more power at high engine speeds. This rocket has 159 hp from a 1.6 liter engine. The CR-X was the second car to receive a VTEC engine, the first being the recently unveiled Integra model. A variant with a glass roof was produced for the Japanese market. People who still drive this vehicle value reliability, economy, great design and hurricane power at high revs. The only downside is that this unique car is no longer in production.
In 1988 and 1990, Motor Trend magazine named the Honda CR-X the imported car of the year. Car and Driver magazine ranked it in the top ten in 1998, and Road & Track magazine named it among the top ten cars of all time in 1988.

The CR-X was the second car to receive a VTEC engine, the first being the Honda Integra model that appeared shortly before.
