Undoubtedly, this is one of the most anticipated sports cars of the last decade. For years, fans waited for NSX to return and arrived. The old NSX was a truly revolutionary car - a "supercar" that didn't need to be bought and, more importantly, kept in a bank account, which was comfortable enough on long journeys and solid on race tracks. At the time, the aluminum design of the car was innovative and everything else was very simple. But that's exactly what it should be - center-mounted engine, rear-wheel drive, manual transmission and so on. Koger is the fastest factory Japanese car of the time. So, the new model faces big challenges and Honda says it is ready for it. The NSX project manager says the new NSX has the same technology as the 918 Porsche or LaFerrari only at a much lower price. The same formula for success as 25 years ago? Tap why not. The new model does not use electric motors to reduce fuel consumption. In fact, in turns, the car performs the calculations needed to achieve the ideal trajectory. Accordingly, a signal may be given to suspend one of the inner wheels on the turn or to provide more torque to the outer front wheel by means of electric motors. The car has a V6 internal combustion engine that rotates the rear wheels and two 36 hp electric motors for each of the front wheels, with a total engine power of about 500 hp. The manufacturer claims to have one of the most effective start control systems that allows you to reach 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds! When you press the accelerator pedal, the engine sounds at full volume - its timbre is simply hysterical, comparable to the sound of an F1 car's atmospheric engine. Inside, the car boasts excellent visibility, no worse than the 570/650/675 McLaren models, and the driver’s position is low with excellent lateral support. The NSX is perfectly controllable - the driver can directly feel any, even the slightest movement of his hand or foot, transmitting to a direct result on the road. Still, it's hard to say what position the NSX will have to take in today's supercar market - whether it's a high-tech car or a powerful, solid or just "cool" car. Yes, the car is perfectly manageable, but will it be able to match such sophisticated competitors as the Porsche 911 GT3 or Ferrari 488 GTB, especially given the relatively high weight of the NSX. Honda's hybrid technology does not allow the NSX to be used for economy purposes in what the BMW i8 can do. Will the car be able to deliver emotions like the McLaren, Pagani models? Will there be an everyday supercar like the Audi R8? What will the Honda NSX have to become? Or maybe just this car will invent a new path, its own way - just like its glorious predecessor did.
