The Hyundai Genesis is a rear-wheel drive luxury sporty sedan with three possible engines. The car will not be delivered to the European market. Standard features include autopilot, automatic headlights, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, leather upholstery and steering wheel, front seats are electrically operated and heated, electrically operated windows and mirrors as well, and a seven-speaker sound system. This is the first high-end Hyundai car to appear in a row. It’s a really serious competitor to Lexus or Acura models. Edmunds.com gave this car 9.5 out of 10 possible points. The only obvious downside to the car is the low prestige of the Hyundai brand.
Hyundai positions the car as follows: BMW 5 Series Dynamics, 7 Series BMW Interior and 3 Series BMW Price.

Genesis has the first V8 engine designed by Hyundai.

Only the Rolls-Royce Phantom and Hyundai Genesis (at an additional cost) can order a great Lexicon audio system.

The car has won many different awards, including the following:
  • 2009 North American and Canadian Car of the Year.
  • In 2009, the V8 engine became one of the top ten in the world.
  • Edmunds.com gave this car a very good rating - 9.5 out of 10 possible points.
