The Lexus UX is a small city SUV. Like many of the car’s competitors, the Lexus UX is hard to call an SUV. It’s basically a hatchback with a design that has SUV-specific attributes such as angled body lines, plastic trim in the wheel arches, and slightly more ground clearance. The Lexus UX design is an attempt to combine Lexus style with compact dimensions and the aforementioned SUV attributes. The result was a mix of various mostly mismatched details, or he managed to decide for himself. The similar stylistics applied in the sister Toyota CH-R are, in our opinion, much more advanced. The interior of the Lexus UX, meanwhile, is quite high quality and pleasant to the touch - you can only find it in Mercedes-Benz GLA or BMW X1 cars. An interesting solution is to install the control buttons of the audio system in the armrest, which are especially convenient to use when the hand is placed on the armrest. Of course, there is little space in the interior, and the luggage compartment is small. Because the batteries in the hybrid UX versions hide above the rear axle, the car also does not have a spare wheel. So a small SUV is not a very practical car, yet it is not for travel, but for the city. And in the city it's great - the trunk lid can be closed by waving a foot under the rear bumper, Lexus says the little one has one of the smallest turning radii, and Lexus says it's the most economical non-electric car in its segment. Agree all these properties are crucial in the city.
