In the past, the Mazda 3, no matter how good, could not match competitors such as the Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus or Opel Astra. However, the new model declares that it has everything you need to succeed - technology, quality, appearance and management. The look of the new model echoes the style of the recently launched Mazda 6 model - bright wheel arches, ultra-low side window line for sportiness, perfectly matched headlights with radiator grille give the impression of completeness and originality. The 4465 mm long, 1795 mm wide and 1450 mm high car is 5 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 20 mm lower than its predecessor, and the wheelbase has been increased by all 60 mm. The quality of the interior was the weak side of the Mazda 3, but this time it will try to solve the problems not only with a stylish design, but also with more abundant use of leather and other quality materials. The company even claims that the new model will be the quietest car in its class - they used lightweight but perfectly sound-absorbing materials. The interior will delight a large space not only for the front seat passengers, but also for the rear seat passengers. The trunk capacity has increased to 350 l. The Mazda 3 comes with three SkyActiv petrol engines and one diesel power plant. The weakest base models have a 1.5-liter, 99hp engine that accelerates to 100 km / h in 10.8 seconds. The 2.0-liter atmospheric petrol engines have 118 or 162 hp. Models with these engines accelerate to 100 km / h in 8.9 and 8.2 seconds respectively. The 2.2-liter diesel engine achieves 148 hp and 380 Nm of torque. This option will accelerate to 100 km / h in 8.1 seconds. Mazda 3 cars use the i-Eloop system, which sends the kinetic energy released during braking to the battery and thus "replaces" the alternator. The company is already using this solution in other cars currently in production - the Mazda 6 and Mazda CX-5.
