Introduced in early 2000, the second-generation Nissan Almera differs from its predecessor in its gentle, curved lines. While there are those who believe that the design of the car is blank compared to the competitors, the new Almera has been well sold all over the world. The N16 Almera is manufactured on Nissan’s global MS platform developed after Nissan began partnering with Renault. This platform is the basis for both the new Primera and Almera Tino. The N16 Almera is better controlled, more confident on the road and more dynamic than the old one, even today it is considered to be one of the best managed small family cars on the market, among other things being very reliable and high quality. However, unlike the previous Almera, this generation model has less space for rear passenger legs, this is due to the fact that the car has a smaller than average wheelbase in its class - 2.53 meters. Almera has also received new 1.5-liter turbodiesel engines from the Renault Megane II, the first exchange of mechanical parts between Nissan and Renault.

No way
Constantly broken, I changed half of the machine, well, not the machine. The first almera didn't burn, the second to both mourned!
I'm tired of it, constantly grieved, the chain is stretched, (illness of them). Did I not succeed or how was that week I drove a week in repairs ... I was shopping with 80,000 real Mileage, from a representative ... Noisy ,,,...

Great reliable car in its class

Reliable engine, non-destructive chassis, good handling
Not very spacious for those sitting at the back, quite loud working cold corrosion, corrosion.
So, for two years I had a nissan almera 2.2 di engine. The engine runs quite slowly at low speeds, but this can be solved by disconnecting the egr valve or chipping. Both the engine and the chassis are reliable, after only about 3...

Well managed, not bad looks, low depreciation
Poor sound insulation, many small faults, poor ride quality

Reliability, normal fuel consumption, manageability, easy to repair
Poor sound insulation, very rust, gearbox noisy, uncomfortable suspension.
2009?Nissan Almera attracted attention at Kaunas car market. That is what I was looking for. Mannas were from Italy, distinguished from others by a lowered suspension and beautiful standard r16 rims, as well as a sporty finish. So...

Fun and beautiful design, reliable engine and everything else, a huge on-board computer like this year, impressive traction, GPS and a full range of all toys controlled via computer :))
Interior plastic cool, cheap assembly feels somewhere, solid chassis (although I personally like it, I feel like in a sports car), comfort (for whom it matters)
Hello, I am writing a review of my Nissan Almera 2004, 2.2 dCi (Japanese engine) Figure 6. full SXE kit. So I have a car for a year and a half, this is my first car, which has not disappointed me so far and was very reliable:) I o...

Fuel consumption, quality and price relationship, simple repairs
I bought, as the sellers said - a car of one owner, an old man, driven only to the store and back. Yeah right. I probably bought an unscrewed speedometer, a stripped-down Nissan. But even that hasn?t gone wrong yet (tfu tfu tfu). ...

Pretty cheap maintenance, good traction. Great companion in the city and not very long distances on country roads. A really capacious car if the rear seats are down. Great engine
There is not much space for rear passengers. Hard suspension. Rattling salon. Huge on-board computer screen.
Pretty heavy car. A good friend in the city or on the highway, true longer journeys are frustrating, but let?s not forget that it?s a compact car. The look is truly exceptional compared to major competitors such as the vw golf4 or...
