The Nissan X-Trail is Nissan's first SUV crossover. The car uses the Nissan FF-S platform and appeared at a time when a number of companies were introducing their SUVs - Ford Escape, Mazda Tribute, Hyundai Santa Fe and Pontiac Aztek. Various Nissan SUVs are produced in different markets, respectively the X-Trail is marketed below the Xterra, Nissan Pathfinder or Nissan Murano, but above the Qashqai model. In North America, the X-Trail model will be replaced by the Nissan Rogue, which uses the same platform as the X-Trail. The Nissan Rogue model will have a very similar design to the Qashqai popular in Europe. The X-Trail SUV has become very popular in many countries due to its practical size, comfortable ride, good passability and low cost. In 2008, the Nissan X-Trail was upgraded to a slightly larger SUV (now 4,630 mm long) and built on the new Nissan / Renault Alliance C platform. However, this updated model is not planned to be sold in North American markets.

Everything is great

Quite economical in some such classes. Not a bad thing. Have fun riding, soft. Passed and off-road, tested!
Does not show fuel consumption because there is no on-board computer. Everything is used in the trunk.
I have had a 2005m nissan Xtrail for a year now. A complete car with me. The only thing I changed is the intercooler. And so is everything for every machine: lubricants, filters, pads and discs. Fuel consumption ~ 8l / 100 km. If ...

First of all, this car serves a really reliable service. In a year and a half, about 30k have been driven. Lubricant every 10k and several running chassis parts changed. Parts prices are not high. My wife and I really like the ext...

Capacity, reliability, comfort, cross-country ability
Old-fashionable interior, diesel engines, fabric seats
Let’s begin with a summary: it’s a good vehicle and enough comfortable for long-distance trips down the highway. Good sound isolation also makes it more attractive. On sharp corners it swings out slightly. Sitting in the back of t...

Nissan X-Trail 2.2 di 84kW '02
My rating  My rating Recommended
Very practical, at the same time good-looking, very cheap operation, simple construction, can pull the highest weight from all the off-road SUVs of that time, quite slippery (like a highway), an ideal helper in the farm.
The lower rear end (slippery rear end and rear axle) and rear brake pads like browning (very little), with minimally scattered plasma in the cabin.
In short, this is one of the most ideal value for money - the car is very practical, at the same time it is cheap to operate, and if necessary, it does not bother to go to a family meeting. Gearbox, rear derailleur, transmission -...

Very durable. We are driving with him in Afghanistan here only Japanese car can withstand it. And that?s not all. Only Nissan patrols, X-Trail and Toyota Land cruiser can withstand. The car has enough power. I think that's all tha...

Serious and not quite parquet SUV. Turbine failures!
My rating  My rating Recommended
That would be a very good SUV - comfortable, passable, interestingly designed and guaranteed to be safe, but everything is damaged by reliability problems, and they are serious in this car.
Turbines, intercooler problems. Uneconomical.
For me, this car is really nice - the status quo, the masculine design looks solid and somehow resembles Land Rover SUVs. Clearly, there will be those who think this is a terrible car, but need to acknowledge the fact that the rav...
