The 911 GT3 is a high-tech water-cooled 911 with a quarter-century tradition of producing low-weight RS (short for German Rennsport) models. The GT3 is named after the FIA GT class and uses the atmospheric turbo version of the Porsche 962 and Porsche 911 GT1 engine. The racing versions of the GT3 have won several 24-hour races and dominate their class in Le Mans racing. The 415 hp 3.6l engine is the most powerful atmospheric 6-cylinder series engine in the world. The GT3 has no unnecessary things - almost no sound insulation, no rear seats, no sound system, no sunroof, no air conditioning, they can't even be ordered extra! To maximize traction, the GT3 features increased brakes, a lowered, newly balanced suspension, lighter rims and a new front bumper with rear spoiler to increase traction and traction.
The 415 hp 3.6l engine was once the most powerful atmospheric 6-cylinder series engine in the world.

The GT3 racing versions have won several 24-hour races and dominate their class in the Le Mans, 24-hour Daytona (won the 2003 race), American Le Mans series, the 24-hour Spa (won the 2003 race) and the 24-hour Nürburgring (won the 2000 race). .
