Renault Fluence has been designed to meet the needs of practical people who count their money but at the same time want to have the most comfortable car. The new four-door car is 4.62 m long and 1.809 m wide, has a wheelbase of 2.702 m. In contrast to the hatchback fashion that has become rapidly popular in recent years, the Fluence is a sedan and has a much longer wheelbase than the compact class, making the car offer a truly spacious interior equivalent to a mid-range car. Thanks to this size and the abundance of standard equipment, the Renault Fluence finds itself in an intermediate position between the compact C-Class family models and the higher-end cars. The exterior of the car is emphatically restrained, which is exactly the style of the car. The interior is dominated by lines already familiar from the Renault Laguna model - these are elegant, soft lines that perfectly emphasize the car's exterior style. The interior of the car is designed to be as unloaded as possible with a variety of devices. Much attention has been paid to the selection of interior finishing materials: the door handles, appliance trim and gear lever are chrome-plated, as well as leather trim. There is more than 23 liters of storage space inside the car, including a lighted, refrigerated 9-liter storage box. The Renault Fluence 530-liter boot is one of the largest in its class. In addition, it can be expanded by folding the seats. Because there is no metal partition between the boot and the main compartment of the car, larger items can be carried in the boot. At the start of the sale, Renault Fluence is available with 2 petrol (1.6-liter 16V 110 hp and 2.0-liter 16V 140 hp) and 5 1.5-liter diesel (dCi 85, dCi 90 DPF, dCi 105, dCi 110 DPF and dCi 110 DPF with new dual clutch ). 2011 Renault plans to offer an electric version of the Fluence.
