The Saab 9-7X is a mid-size SUV built on the General Motors GMT360 platform, which is also used by GMC Envoy, Chevrolet TrailBlazer and shares many components with each other. The 9-7X is GM’s most expensive mid-size SUV and the first Saab made in America, and it’s also the most expensive Saab car ever made. The 9-7X model uses many body parts from the discontinued Oldsmobile Bravada, differing only in a typical Saab front end - headlights, bonnet, roof line, tail lights and bumpers. Together with the Saab 9-2X, this SUV is one of the first Saab to have standard all-wheel drive. The 9-7X is also the first Saab to be produced with a V8 engine. The SUV's interior is dominated by a typical Saab style with Saab's favorite start button next to the gear lever.
