The Saab 900 is a compact luxury car built with three- or five-door hatchback and two-door convertible bodies. 900 shares its platform with the Opel Vectra. It is the smallest Saab except for the short-lived model 9-2X, which was based on the Subaru Impreza base. This 900 has a conventional cross-mounted motor. The 900 model was later replaced by a 9-3 and although Saab claimed to have undergone "1100 upgrades", the new model remained virtually the same as the old one.
The Saab 900 has a one-button dimmable instrument panel (a feature called Black Panel) to minimize distractions to the driver at night.
In 1993/94, the Saab 900 was voted the best imported car in Japan.

Female opinion. Saab 900 NG 2.0 97 '
My rating  My rating Recommended
Durability, assembly quality
Lack of traction, hard suspension
Durable and reliable car that required minimal investment after purchase. In my opinion, a bit cool, but for those looking for more comfort you can always choose 9-5. The model I had was completely bare (there were only power wind...

Saab 900 NG 2.0 96 kW - a modest female opinion :)
My rating  My rating Recommended
Durable both suspension and engine as well as body, capacious car
Hard suspension, not very economical - Lithuanian "big cities" ~ 13-14l / 100km of gas (direct injection) while driving quite quietly
Very reliable and durable car. On the downside, I can only note the hardness of the suspension (there?s nothing you want when in such a class) and the weak plastic of the shoulder handles (other interior trim is high quality), and...

Reliable, stylish, unique, distinctive
Harder to sell
Very good reliable car. Never lead. I already got that it was bought for me, and at first I didn't like the design very much, I thought I would give up, but ... I was pleasantly surprised. Very soft and comfortable ride, very prac...

Saab 900, engine capacity 2 l, 1998, three-door hatchback

Reliable, durable, even taller people will easily fit in both the steering wheel and passenger seats.
Original details are unobtrusively expensive, uneconomical, not very powerful, comfort is also not too much.
In fact, the chassis of a car is very simple and inexpensive because almost anything can be restored. Overall, a reliable and patient car that saves no money at all and has poor traction. For me personally, he swallowed at least 1...

Saab 900s 104kW

The machine is comfortable enough, the traction lasted 104 kw with a French factory shoe. manageability is also not bad. The engine and transmission are a very reliable engine with a chain of about 500,000km. The odometer does not...

SAAB 900S coupe
My rating  My rating Recommended
Reliability, good handling even on slippery roads, comfortable seats for long journeys
High fuel consumption
The Manab is a 3-door Saab, but there?s really no room for both front and rear. Very comfortable seats, really not tired on a long trip. Very large trunk, and even bigger when the rear seats are lowered. In winter, very stable and...

A fun car, but very expensive to maintain. PVZ clutch kit only 1400lt, has two chains of the motor, it also does not come cheap, if it needs to be replaced. It is very pleasant to drive and fuel consumption is really low, the city...

Very comfortable car. It's just a pity that in the versions with 2.5 V6 engine the clutch is not hydraulic - how difficult it is to press, but it gets used to :) Gearshift accuracy could be better - it is difficult to shift gears ...
