The new SEAT Leon has become shorter, wider, lower and of course more angular. Yes, this car is still on the same platform as the seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf and has the same engines and gearboxes, but is much more attractive and can even compete with the Audi A3. SEAT has been focusing on the production of sportier-looking cars for some time now, confirming the introduction of a three-version coupe silhouette. Fans of practicality will not be disappointed either - the station wagon Leon ST is also produced. The design of the new generation Leon is dominated by two horizontal lines running through the sides of Leon. These sharp lines go well with other design details - angled lights and trapezoidal radiator grille. From now on, the rear door handles are mounted on the door and not next to the rear window. Also, it is the first SEAT to have a simplified company logo. Leon's interior is somewhat reminiscent of Audi's creations, and its quality is not inferior to that of its cousin Audi A3. Although the new Leon has become shorter, the wheelbase has been extended by 58 mm, giving more space for passengers. The 380-liter luggage compartment has also become larger and now surpasses the luggage compartments of the Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus or Volvo V40. Under the hood of the Leon are 1.2, 1.4 and 1.8 TSI petrol engines with power ranging from 85 to 178 hp. Diesel engines have a capacity of 1.6 or 2.0, with power ranging from 89 to 181 hp. The excellent 181 hp 2.0 TDI FR engine allows the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.5 seconds and will similarly be very popular with younger drivers. The engines can be assembled with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. True on the road, the car's suspension is stiff, but it won't bother you, even on long journeys.
