Spyker C12 Zagato, 2007 - 2008
The new Spyker model C12 Zagato combines neoclassical style with the most advanced F1 technologies. It is the most exotic Dutch product and only the third model of the company, which was presented at the 2007 Geneva International Motor Show. This car was developed together with the Italian company Zagato. To emphasize Spyker's relationship with Formula 1 racing, the C12 Zagato has a number of details typical of F1 cars - the car looks much more aggressive than the C8, sloping front with F1 car design details, air intakes dominate everywhere, high rear view mirrors, fuel filling rear diffuser and automatic transmission control by levers behind the steering wheel. Other distinctive features of the C12 Zagat include a top-opening door, side windows with small additional windows, a two-part raised glass roof, stainless steel roof pillars, a "cut-off" rear end and excellent turbine-shaped rims. The Zagato company has created a great interior for this amazing car full of leather upholstery and polished aluminum inserts. More importantly, what this car has under the hood - here lies a 6.0-liter W12 engine borrowed from VW with 500 hp, which is delivered to the rear wheels. Despite the luxury details, the car weighs only 1480 kg and reaches 100 km in 3.8 seconds. If that's not enough, a possible version with a compressor that has a much more solid number of horses - even 641! These impressive spikers will be produced in just 24 units, and will cost them approximately $ 650,000 per unit.
