In 2007, Subaru introduced the new Impreza WRX. Looking at the new car, it becomes clear that Subaru is trying to attract as much of the general public as possible by offering a more conventional form of car. The design of the hatchback resembling a monovolume is radically different from the previous sedan type. The car is built on an abbreviated Subaru Legacy platform. The front suspension is MacPherson type and the rear is new with two crossbars. The bonnet is made of aluminum, and the lower total number of body parts is a novelty in the production of Subaru bodies. So it should come as no surprise that this body is used in the production of rally cars. The engine remained the same with excellent balance, high power and torque, and a lightning-fast response to the accelerator. Its data - displacement 2.5 liters, maximum power 230 hp (169 kW) /5,600 rpm.
