Blue sedan, large rear spoiler, yellow rims and large yellow "555" figures on the side. Yes, you will not confuse it with anyone - this is the legendary Subaru Impreza WRX STi. This is the most powerful Impreza model. In the late 1980s, Subaru formed a division of Subaru Tecnica International (STI) to coordinate activities related to the FIA World Rally Championship. As a result, the all-wheel-drive, 4-cylinder amazing sound boxer-type turbo engine and its owners, the Impreza WRX and Impreza WRX STi, were born. The WRX STi had 275 hp (202 kW) of power and 319 Nm of torque. This version did not have many of the features typical of series models - soundproofing materials, a radio player or air conditioning. They were abandoned because the cars were intended for racing teams. This version of the Impreza had a driver-controlled central differential (DCCD), an electromechanical device that could block the differential. The WRX STi was produced in both sedan, coupe and station wagon bodies.
At the time, it was the most powerful Impreza model.

This generation’s Subaru Impreza WRX Sti debuted at the WRC Rally Championship in 1993 at the Acropolis Rally in Greece with Carlos Sainz behind the wheel. This Impreza replaced the Subaru Legacy model that had previously fought in rally arenas.

This generation Subaru Impreza WRX Sti had the first active differential among all rally cars.

Behind the wheel of this car, Colin McRae became the champion in the WRC Championship in 1995, and Subaru won the team standings in 1995, 1996 and 1997.
