Introduced in 2008, the Subaru Impreza WRX STi became a 5-door hatchback. Although the design of the car has changed dramatically, the STi version still has a huge rear spoiler, bonnet air vent and famous silver or gold rims. All Impreza models have a longer wheelbase and a slightly shorter length, a stronger chassis and a lower-mounted engine to further reduce the car’s center of gravity and increase stability. Unlike the Impreza WRX, the STi version has aluminum components in the suspension and much wider wings. The car is all-wheel drive as usual. Under normal driving conditions, the new DCCD system distributes torque between the front and rear wheels in a ratio of 41/59. This drive is connected to a steering angle sensor that constantly monitors the driver's actions. Therefore, regardless of changing road conditions, it automatically ensures steering sensitivity, good traction, handling and stable driving on the intended trajectory. The engine continues to deliver high power of 221 kW (300 hp) and a whopping 407 Nm of torque. From 0 to 100 km / h. The WRX STi accelerates in 5.2 seconds, and the reduced average consumption to 10.3 l / 100 km will pleasantly surprise everyone.
