Toyota made its debut at the 2009 North American International Show. The new car body is designed to be even more aerodynamic, now the car's air resistance coefficient is extremely low - only 0.25 Cd. The car consumes even less fuel - the overall economy is 4.7 l / 100 km (down 0.59 l compared to the previous generation), although the engine displacement has increased from 1.5 L to 1.8 L. Now the engine has 98 hp, and with the addition of electric motor power, there are a total of 134 hp (previously 110 hp). A higher engine means that the maximum torque is reached at lower engine speeds, which allows for more economical driving on the highway.
