A new generation of the highly successful Toyta Yaris has been introduced. The car has become bigger, more spacious, better quality and more beautiful exterior. The car’s lines are now somewhat reminiscent of the design style used in Lexus models, and the air resistance ratio has been reduced to 0.285. The larger wheelbase of the car allowed to increase the space for the rear passengers and to extend the luggage compartment by 25%. The new models feature a 6.1-inch Toyota Touch touchscreen, which is the only one of its kind in the compact car class. The screen is convenient for controlling various car functions. It also provides an image of the reversing camera. The interior uses mechanically resistant plastic, but it is tough and obviously cheap - of lower quality than competitors Ford Fiesta or Volkswagen Polo. You can choose from three engines: a 1.0 or 1.33 liter VVT-i petrol engine and a 1.4 liter D-4D turbodiesel engine. Despite the larger dimensions, the new Yaris has become 20 kg lighter. Toyota engineers have significantly improved the car's maneuverability and driving characteristics, but the car is not comfortable - even on flat roads, the rigidity of the suspension and the unevenness of the road are significantly felt.
