The Volvo XC90 is a mid-size luxury SUV built on the P2 platform, which it shares with the first-generation Volvo S80 and other large Volvo cars. The XC90 is the most popular Volvo car in the world and is designed to compete with the BMW X5 and Mercedes ML-Class. In 2003, the model had two engines - a 2.5T and a T6. The 2.5T is a 5-cylinder, 20-valve turbo engine with 205 hp (153 kW) and 320 Nm of torque. The T6 is a 2.9 L 24-valve 6-cylinder engine with two turbines and 268 hp (200 kW) and 380 Nm of torque. Later, a new Ford / Yamaha co-developed V8 engine with 4.4 L 311 hp (232 kW) and 441 Nm of torque was introduced. Versions with both all-wheel drive and front-wheel drive were produced. The XC90 is extremely popular in North America (here it is the most popular European SUV), so it is not for nothing that it won the 2003 SUV title in the United States. As usual, Volvo is known for its excellent safety features, it is also known as the SUV that has passed the rollover test the best, while many other luxury models do not care about this area. While the car isn’t as stylish as the BMW X5 or as impressive as the Range Rover, it is unbeatable in terms of practicality, comfort, spaciousness and safety. After all, this is what must be a real SUV.
The XC90 was the best-selling Volvo car in the U.S., and in 2005 it became the best-selling Volvo in the world, with 85,994 units sold.
The Volvo XC90 is also equipped with a V8 engine, which is considered one of the cleanest V8 engines in the world.
The Volvo XC90 won the 2003 Best SUV title in the United States.

The pros are no doubt spacious, plenty of space around, but at the same time everything at hand. Very comfortable seats, good usability, high car, nice design, no winter at -25. The gas tank fits neatly to the bottom instead of the spare wheel
Mazokai trunk, like the 2010 old-looking speedometer, magician, eye-catching when driving on petrol, sometimes turning the parking lot longer, the luggage has two extra seats, only cold air is supplied
I had a 2010m 3.2 petrol / gas. I bought a Volvo for the first time and was very happy with the car. Definitely recommend comfortable handling as the jeep really rides softly...

Convenient for longer trips, good access, well-felt and manageable.
High degree of reversal, fuel-efficient I do not recommend.
A comfortable car for people who like longer trips, good proficiency has not been tested many times. I myself have enough complaints with the automatic gearbox, the driver has not had to do anything in the second half of the year ...

Expensive parts, high fuel consumption

Good, expensive maintenance if breaks down
My rating  My rating Recommended
This vehicle is comfortable enough, quite dynamic bearing in mind its weight, but what’s mostly worth paying attention to is it doesn’t break down as frequently as my previous cars like WV Passat, Golf, Audi A6 and especially MB E200, easily overcomes mos
Major disadvantages are: consumes too much fuel, not enough compartments, quite expensive tires, since you own Volvo expect to pay extra more in auto repair shops, sensitive gas regulation, front leather seats and hand brake wear out very quickly
I bought it half a year ago and to my mind it is quite stable, ‘patient’, having a good look, powerful and comfortable enough. If you decide to buy a gasoline-powered car (without gas), have in mind that fuel consumption will be h...

It is cheap to buy only a completely defective car, to fix it you will pay more than buying a good one right away. The car is more designed to ride on good roads, especially the whole chassis comes off the gravel. Well, if the cha...

Good but expensive maintenance, of course, something goes wrong for her

The car is, comfortable enough, as such masses are dynamic enough, and what I like most is that it doesn't break down, as often as I still have the WV Passat, Golf, Audi A6 and especially the MB E200, freely lipaper most onboard.
The main disadvantages are that a lot of fuel is consumed, Very few items are available, fuel is consumed, expensive tires, service-minded volvu owners, sensitive gas adjustment, and very quickly worn front leather seats, and a handbrake.

Very comfortable and convenient car. All possible security features. Comfortable car for quiet driving lovers.
Very expensive to maintain. Designed not for SUVs but for Volvo car enthusiasts.
I like it because they aren?t on every corner like the MB ML or the BMW X5, and the price of a used car doesn?t bite. Volvo's diesel engines also deserve praise. The cabin clearly lags behind in terms of comfort and the latest fas...
