Alfa Romeo 159 is a compact car with luxury elements, produced in sedan and station wagon bodies. 159 replaced the successful Alfa Romeo 156 model. The new model uses the GM / Fiat platform along with other Alfa - Brera and Spider. 159 designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro together with Alfa Centro Stile. The front, like many new Alfa Romeos - with six round headlights, the body lines have become a bit more angled and "stronger". The interior remained similar to the older one - with deeply installed instruments and a lady facing the driver. However, the 159 is larger than its predecessor and can be driven not only on the front wheels but also on all wheels. The rigidity of the new 159 chassis is very good - one of the best in its class. Two black 159s took part in the introductory scenes in James Bond's 2008 film "The Quantum of Consolation" - here he took part in spectacular persecution scenes along with Agent 007 Aston Martin's DBS V12.
