The Alfa Romeo Giulietta, also known as the Alfa Romeo 149 / Milano, is the successor to the Alfa Romeo 147. Production of this car started at the end of 2009, and the car itself was presented at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The Milan name was already used in the Alfa Romeo brand range, hence the Alfa Romeo 75 sedan for the North American market in the 1980s. The Milan name was abandoned as Fiat, which owns the Alfa Romeo brand, moved its design division Centro Stile from the city of Milan to Turin. The Giulietta is produced on a heavily modified C evo platform, which was introduced in the Fiat Stilo model. The car is only produced with a five-door body (the hatchback is 4.35 m long, 1.46 m high and 1.8 m wide.) As the main buyers of the Giulietta are expected to be 27-40 year olds with families but no strangers to good taste. and the need for a sports car. The lack of a three-way variant will be partially offset by the smaller Alfa Romeo MiTo. Admittedly, the new Giulietta has taken over many design elements from the aforementioned MiTo. The cars are similar in both their shape, the line of windows and the front. Maybe nothing new, but it’s all done just great, it just confirms the image of Italians as exceptionally talented car makers. All car engines have turbines. The smallest: the 1.4-liter variant with 120 hp, the other 1.4TB MultiAir version with 170 hp. The diesels are: 1.6 JTDM with 105 hp or 2.0 JTDM with 170 hp. Alfa Romeo will install a DNA system in the new model (also available in the MiTo model), which will allow you to choose between three driving modes - dynamic, normal or severe.
