The Alfa Romeo MiTo is a 3-door supermini car powered by front wheels and will compete with models such as the MINI or the upcoming Audi A1. The MiTo is designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo and is clearly influenced by the powerful Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione. MiTo is manufactured on the Fiat / GM SCSS platform, which is also used by Fiat Grande Punto. In 2007, a competition was launched in Europe to name the car and win the Alfa Romeo Spider or Alfa Romeo mountain bike. The name Furiosa won, but in 2008. On March 14, Alfa Romeo officially announced that the name would be MiTo which is an abbreviation for Milan (Milan) and Turin (Turin). Because in the first the car was designed and in the second produced. Initially, the MiTo will have small gasoline or diesel engines with turbines.
