Aston Martin Vantage, 2005 - 2017
The Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a sports car from the UK. It is the smallest and most affordable in the Aston Martin range and is designed to compete with the Porsche 911 and other exotic cars in the GT class. The Aston Martin V8 Vantage has a 4.3 L, V8 32-valve engine with 380 hp (280 kW) / 7000 rpm and 409 Nm / 5000 rpm torque, dynamics from 0 to 60 miles per hour (97 km / h) in 4.7 seconds, and a top speed of 282 km / h. This engine is mounted transversely to the front, the car has an almost ideal weight distribution of 49/51 front / rear. Several special versions are also in production: At the 2006 British Motor Show, Aston Martin Racing unveiled the V8 Vantage for the Nürburgring in the 24 Hours of Endurance. In 2008, the most powerful V8 Vantage GT2 variant, which meets the requirements of the FIA and ACO GT2 class, debuted. This car will compete in the FIA GT Championship, the American Le Mans Series, the Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car is tuned to run on E85 ethanol or normal racing fuel.
