Aston Martin Vanquish, 2012 - 2018
The Aston Martin Vanquish is very similar to its DBS or DB9 brothers. The new model in the company range is positioned above the DB9 model and replaces the DBS model. True, the Vanquish design retains the Aston Martin tradition and is very similar to the DBS and the One-77 supercar (especially the rear with a gracefully built-in spoiler and distinctive headlights). However, the main differences are invisible - carbon fiber and aluminum are widely used in the chassis structure, which gives less weight and increases body stiffness by 25 percent. The Vanquish interior, as usual for a car of this caliber, is extremely attractive, cozy and high quality. The new coupe is armed with the well-known Aston Martin V12 engine, which is an upgraded engine with 573 hp (421 kW) at 6750 rpm and 620 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. It is the most powerful fully standard Aston Martin car ever made. The Vanquish engine gives its power to the upgraded automatic touchtronic2 transmission and unlike the DBS model is not equipped with a manual transmission.
