The new generation Audi A3's 3-door and 5-door hatchback and convertible bodies have become similar to their Audi A1, Audi A4 and Audi A6 brothers - all of these cars will now be less recognizable in their rear-view mirrors. Some will like it, while others may be disappointed with the "uniformity" of the company's models. However, it must be admitted that the Audi A3 looks nice - perfectly balanced proportions, sympathetic headlights and taillights. Inside, the car can finally boast high-quality materials, a standard 5.8-inch thin pop-up LED display and an attractive dashboard design that is again very similar to the A1 model. Sitting behind the wheel of a car, you’ll quickly notice that Audi has sacrificed a bit for sportiness for comfort and that seems like good - as the A3 has never had an exceptional roadside position, and the new model at least delights in absorbing a variety of road bumps. Although the new A3 is no longer than the old one, its width and wheelbase have become larger, and the luggage compartment has been increased by 15 liters to 365 liters. Thus, the new A3 is an extremely strong competitor to the BMW 1 Series, although the strengths of these cars are completely different. Nor should the A3 compete in a competitive battle with the well-groomed and cheaper VW Golf model.
