The Audi A4 is a compact car with a hint of luxury. The car was produced with sedan, station wagon and convertible bodies on the Volkswagen B6 (PL46) platform. The design of the A4 is influenced by the Audi A6 already in production. Audi has replaced the tiptronic gearbox with a new multitronic, which is considered one of the best of its kind in the world.
