In early 2009, the Audi A4 Allroad variant was introduced, which, like the Audi A6 allroad quattro, has a wider chassis, increased ground clearance, a permanent all-wheel drive quattro, stainless steel guards at the front and rear of the car and roof racks.
Nice design, pleasure to drive, good ground clearance
Expencive maintenance

Car description
Both it a year ago with 62 000 miles. Now it's around 80 000 miles. Body has some stonechips and few scrapes but I think it's normal for the car with this mileage. The ride is quite soft for Allroad. Cloth sport seats holds you nicely in the corners. Got to drive it in long trips from Northern Europe through the part of Western Europe (around 3100 miles) and really never got tired sitting in them seats. Obviously it would be nice to have a massage option. At the back there isn't much room but it's possible to sit. On the road and in the corners car is stuck to the road, steering is very responsive and feel of the road is very good. During winter driving on snow, always want to switch off ESP and mess around. Disappointed that there was no Bluetooth, but it has tow bar, electric boot and more little extras that cars of that age have. I use the car to go fishing and skiing and never had any problems ground clearance. Was able to compare it driving in the woods with 2011 Subaru Outback, so Subaru is a lot more comfortable and softer then Audi. Audi Concert stereo system sounds nice but doesn't impress that much. Plastic covers on the arches are covered in some kind of rubber and are worn in few places, so doesn't help the looks. Also Start-Stop system is annoying, which has to be deactivated manually every time you drive. Overall is hard to find more bad things because this car fulfills my needs.
Performance
168 bhp 2.0 L tdi is really alive and is fun to drive. 100 mph reaches quite quickly , didn't try to reach max speed. Fuel consumption (Combined) is 40-47 mpg.
Reliability, running costs
After 8700 miles had to change flywheel which was expensive. Not long ago passenger door switch started showing that the door is open, but didn't fix it yet. Apart from that, no more expenses after driving it nearly 17 000 miles. I didn't mention oil services because obviously they don't include.
Recommendations to buyers
Check the clutch. If there is any noises and they disappear or you can feel vibration when clutch pedal is depressed, walk away. Apparently the official Audi garage said that I had to change flywheel because of the possibility that my car was used to pull heavy trailers or caravans.
