Audi continues the great tradition of producing Audi Allroad cars with excellent SUV and passenger car characteristics. True, the new Allroad, although based on the A6, is a really heavy machine - it weighs almost two tons and is strongly felt in turns. This time, the differences between the Allroad and A6 are even more subtle - more modest gray wheel arches, stainless steel lower guards at the front and rear. That’s all the visual differences. Inside, the Allroad is 1.5 inches taller than the standard A6, so there’s even more headroom here. The standard four-position air-suspended suspension provides amazing comfort for all passengers, and the ground clearance can be adjusted: say, the car can be lowered by 1.5 cm on the motorway and raised by 3.5 cm in poor conditions. There is also a special mode for extremely low speeds, which gives an additional 1 cm of ground clearance. The Audi Allroad is equipped with one TFSI petrol and three TDI diesel engines. The 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine achieves 310 hp and 440 Nm of torque. Its dynamic parameters are 5.9 s. up to 100 km / h and an average fuel consumption of 8.9 l / 100 km. All three TDI options are 3.0-liter V6 engines with different power parameters: 204 and 245 hp options - with one turbine, the most powerful with 313 hp - with two. This engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Its dynamics are even better than petrol: only 5.6 s to 100 km / h. The new model is wider and longer than its predecessor, so the already considerable 565-liter boot can be increased to a total of 1,860 liters. This is more space than the BMW X5.
