The long-built and highly successful Audi Q7 has finally got its predecessor. The rookie is built on a brand new MLB-evo architecture designed for large VW company models such as the Bentley Bentayga, the new Porsche Cayenne and the VW Touareg. The advantage of the new platform is the significantly reduced weight of the Q7 and other future models. The design of the new SUV has changed little in terms of design - it has retained its former shape and, as usual for all new VW models, has become more angular with plenty of sharp lines. It is difficult to call the new clothes attractive, rather the designers "incorporated" into the new design frames of the company. Inside, the Q7 exudes quality - only good materials are used here, metal inserts are noticeable everywhere. However, the panel design itself is again very similar to the recently released VW Passat model, the door design is also reminiscent of the older Passat or Audi A7 solutions. This does not give the necessary exclusivity to such a sufficiently exclusive car. On the road, the SUV is extremely comfortable, the bumps are perfectly absorbed, the turns are overcome stably, the steering mechanism works predictably, the sound insulation is simply commendable. These are the areas where the strengths of Q7 are revealed. The SUV is equipped with a variety of engines that distribute power in a ratio of 40/60 to the front and rear wheels, but up to 85% of the power can be supplied to the rear wheels if required. The off-road luggage compartment reaches 295 liters and reaches 770 liters electronically with the rear seats folded down. Although the car did not get bigger than its predecessor, the interior space has increased, so there will definitely be enough space for at least 5 tall adults and their luggage.
