The main competitor of the coger BMW M1 - Audi RS3 - is introduced. The most important role in this model is given to the engine - the 2.5 L five-cylinder engine achieves 450 Nm of torque and 335 hp - the same as in the TT RS model. This allows him to accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds, which is one tenth of a second faster than the BMW M1. Not surprisingly, the Audi RS3 is faster than other hot hatchbacks - the VW Golf GTI, Ford Focus RS or Renault Sport Megane. If we take a closer look at the technical data, we will notice that this "innocent" car surpasses even the Porsche 911 Carrera S. Even Audi's own "supercar" R8 with V8 engine is not faster than Audi RS3! It makes you think seriously. As with the fast Audi, the RS3 will only be sold with the Quattro all-wheel drive system. Buyers will not be able to choose gearboxes. The RS3 will only be offered with the S-tronic two-clutch automatic transmission with seven gears. Shift levers on the steering wheel are included. One would long for a good old mechanical gearbox, but Audi says the buyer in this segment is not prioritizing such a gearbox. The car is produced only with a five-door body, which is to distinguish it from the narrow Audi TT RS model. Externally, the RS3 differs from the standard A3 with aggressive bumpers with huge openings, a rear spoiler and even a 25-millimeter lowered suspension. The shock absorbers are still 25 percent stiffer than the S3, but you won't call the car an extreme - it can be driven every day. The RS3, like many other Audi ones, gives the feeling that it’s easy to drive, just too easy, and the feeling that you’re isolated from the environment is really remarkable. Other car attributes include 19-inch rims, matte rear-view mirrors, a roof spoiler, dual exhaust vents and a diffuser. The designers have certainly not forgotten the most important thing - the power RS3 badges. Especially their abundance in the interior, which will make you feel important. When you sit behind the wheel, you will feel the pleasantly enveloping seats, which are also comfortable enough. An interesting accessory in the car cabin is a stopwatch that will help calculate the time it takes to complete the wheel on the track.
