The Audi RS4 is a limited series sports car made exclusively with a universal body - the most powerful of the A4 series, more powerful than the S4 model. It was designed by quattro GmbH, this time not jointly with Porsche, and replaced the old RS2. RS stands for RennSport in German. Like all Audi RS cars, this one has the most advanced Audi technology and is powered by a quattro permanent all-wheel drive system. Its main competitors are the Cadillac CTS-V, the BMW M3, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and the Lexus IS-F. - Cd 0.34. Power is developed by B5 2.7 L 30V bi-turbo 90 ° V6 engine. It was developed in collaboration with Cosworth Technologies - enlarged cylinders, two parallel turbochargers and two intercoolers were added. Combined with the new injection and exhaust systems, this machine achieves 380 hp (279 kW) / 7000 rpm and 440 Nm / 6000 rpm of torque. Although the car weighs as much as 1620 kg, thanks to the explosive engine power it is able to accelerate to 100 km / h in 4.9 seconds, and the maximum speed is limited to 250 km / h by means of electronics. The brakes were also developed in conjunction with Cosworth Technologies, not with Porsche as in the previous RS2. The RS4 now requires less than 50 m to come to a complete stop at 110 km / h.
