You can adore this car or hate it, but it will not leave you indifferent. This extremely popular model marked the period when BMW conquered the market for small premium cars. The E30 Generation 3 Series BMW was introduced in 1982. Originally manufactured with a two-door coupe body, a four-door sedan was introduced in 1983, and in 1985. a convertible and in 1987 a station wagon were also offered to buyers. Many of Koger knows that the station wagon was crafted by a BMW fan who loved his car very much but wanted to have a station wagon body. The resourceful man simply cut off the rear window pillar of the sedan and welded it to the rear. This created a simple and aesthetic body for the station wagon, which was soon "adapted" by the BMW factory. The E30 model was also the first BMW 3 Series with a diesel engine. A rather rare version with an all-wheel drive called 325iX was also produced. The famous and extremely rare BMW Z1roadster Convertible was also produced on the E30 platform. Indeed, BMW was such a successful car that it is often cited as the best creation of all time with its dynamic six-cylinder engines and sporty suspension. The most powerful version of course was the BMW M3, powered by a four-cylinder 2.3- or 2.5-liter engine that reached between 193 and 238 hp, and the most powerful version also had a fairly solid acceleration of up to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds.
