BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, 2017 - present
The BMW 6 Gran Turismo, introduced in 2017, replaced the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo. The new model, like the old one, combines the features of a sedan, an aesthetic coupe and a practical hatchback. And while the mission of 6 Gran Turismo is the same as that of its predecessor 5 Gran Turismo, the newcomer still looks sportier, more aerodynamic and less clumsy. It can now be considered an exact competitor to the Audi A7 and Mercedes-Benz CLS. The design of the car was also evaluated by experts - the new BMW 6 Gran Turismo received the EuroCar Body Award 2017 at the annual conference in Bad Nauheim. The Electoral Commission noted the rear cover of the BMW 6 Gran Turismo as a particularly commendable aspect. It is made of solid aluminum sheet and engineers have designed it so that there is no need for a separate water drainage system. Not only has the new Grand Tourism model evolved in the aesthetic field, it has become lighter and more economical. The new body design, which combines aluminum and high-strength steel, has changed the chassis design compared to the BMW 5 Grand Turismo, reducing the weight of the new model by a total of 150 kilograms. The body alone became 44 kilograms lighter. In addition, the large electric lid makes it easy to load a wide range of loads, and the volume of the luggage compartment itself has increased by 110 liters compared to the previous BMW 5 Gran Turismo. The newbie's boot capacity is 610 liters, and the rear seats can be raised up to 1,800 liters remotely.
