BMW M135i, 2012 - present
The BMW 1 Series is presented as a lightweight, sporty car with a powerful 3-liter turbocharged engine and impeccable handling characteristics. At first glance, this is a modest car with a look no different than the BMW 1 Series with an M-body trim. On closer inspection, the powerful heart of the M-Series BMW is issued by dual exhaust pipes, blue brake calipers and gray mirrors. Inside - a comfortable driver's position, with good trim materials will make you feel a little more special than in the "civilian" 1 Series BMW. But the interior is also modest. What will really delight the driver is the 3-liter engine, which rotates up to 7000 rpm, and delivers the maximum 450 Nm of torque at 1300 rpm. This car fires from 0 to 100 km / h in just 5 seconds. It feels really great, especially if the car has an 8-speed automatic transmission whose gears are really close to each other. Another argument from the sellers of this car is the well-balanced rear-wheel drive and precisely precise steering. However, the body tilt is slightly higher than that of the main competitor Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG. Practicality as expected is not the strong point of the car - the BMW 1 Series is a bit cramped compared to its competitors, and the boot is unimpressive - only 360 liters (increased to 1,200 liters when the seats are folded down). In a word, this is a car whose advantages are revealed on the race track, and there are even a few serious competitors here - both the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG and the all-wheel drive Audi RS3.
