BMW M135i, 2019 - present
The next-generation sporty forerunner welcomes us with a few news stories. The most important thing about the koger is that it is now driven by all four wheels, not just the rear wheels. Basically not bad news, but this configuration was chosen because the standard BMW 1 Series BMW is no longer driven by the rear wheels but by the front wheels. This means that there will be no more drifting turns, which the predecessor could have done quite well as if it were a sports car ready for drifting. The other news of course is the engine. Not surprisingly, in these times of electrification of the automotive industry, the engine has become smaller, much smaller ... We now have only two out of three liters, although with two turbines and instead of 6 cylinders we have an unbelievable 4. True, the turbine power has decreased slightly - from 320 to 306 HP, torque remained the same at 450 Nm and acceleration to 100 km / h improved from 5.1 s to 4.8 s. It's the most powerful four-cylinder engine in BMW's history, the data is solid and yet ... the days when little BMWs had 3-liter six-cylinder turbo engines are irreversibly gone.
