Cadillac Escalade, 2007 - 2014
The Cadillac Escalade is a large SUV manufactured by the Cadillac company. This model was the first Cadillac SUV to be introduced in 1999 in response to popular German and Japanese SUVs. For 2007, Escalade received the new GMT900 SUV platform. An extended version of the ESV and a pickup EXT are also offered in addition to the standard model. The SUV is offered with a 6.2-liter aluminum Vortec V8 engine with 403 hp (301 kW) and 565 Nm of torque, and a new 6-speed automatic transmission. The Escalade can reach 60 mph in 6.8 seconds. Off-road fuel consumption is as high as expected - it consumes 16.8 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers in the city, and 12.4 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers on the highway.
