The new unheard name Cadillac XTS poses a threat to acclaimed gentlemen such as the BMW 5 Series or the Audi A6. With the withdrawal of the large DTS sedan from the Cadillac range, the Cadillac XTS becomes the brand’s new flagship. In fact, the XTS replaces not only the DTS but also the STS model and is produced on the same platform as the recently discontinued Saab 9-5 model. The five-by-a-meter car is a really big sedan, but powered by the front wheels or all four. A big car "planted" on nothing smaller than 19 or 20 inch rims looks just impressive. The car design is a real gem among other mostly gray American cars. The somewhat angled shapes give the car strength, but at the same time they are elegant and perfectly matched to each other, and the front radiator grille emphasizes - yes, I am the flagship of the luxury, luxury brand. Admittedly, the Cadillac company has discovered its style and we hope to nurture it and improve it purposefully in the following models. Inside, the car is "attached" to various technological innovations, and although the interior design is a bit conservative, it will definitely leave a pleasant impression on those sitting inside. So far, the only engine to be equipped with the XTS, as expected, is a 3.6-liter petrol V6 engine with 300 hp and equipped with a Hydra-Matic 6T70 automatic transmission. True, this interesting car will not be sold in Europe, so it will be an extremely rare guest on our streets.
