The Chevrolet Cruze is a compact class car, production of which began in 2008, the car will be sold in the global market. The car is built on the latest Delta II platform like the new Opel Astra. The new Cruze will replace the Daewoo Lacetti-based Chevrolet Lacetti in Europe, the Chevrolet Optra in Mexico, the Holden Viva in Australia and New Zealand, and the unrelated Chevrolet Cobalt in the US and Canada. According to GM, the car has become 65 percent stiffer, has a MacPherson strut front suspension, and a rear suspension that is significantly cheaper than the multi-link used by some competitors. Much attention has been paid to the sound insulation of the car. From the outside, the car doesn't look anything special, inside - the dashboard design is similar to the larger cousin's Opel Insignia with an attractive center console and simple quality plastic, and the luggage compartment has 450 liters of space.
