The Citroen C4 is a small family car produced since 2004 and has replaced the not-so-impressive Xsara model. The C4 is mechanically similar to the Peugeot 308 model and is produced with a three-door coupe, sedan and five-door hatchback bodies with petrol and diesel engines. A seven-seater compact monovolume Grand C4 Picasso and a five-seater C4 Picasso are produced. The appearance of the C4 model was very well received - it was described as a bolder and more interesting project than most Citroen models produced in the 1990s. The great design of the coupe version is somewhat reminiscent of the Mazda 323 F three-door model, but at the same time stands out from the crowd of other cars. That is what Citroen must do. The main "horse" of the C4 sales is high-tech, for example - the car has a Lane Departure Warning System, which warns the driver if he crosses the lane without turning on the turn signal, as well as a unique steering wheel, which keeps the center stable. However, the C4 does not have the hydraulic suspension that the larger models C5 and C6 have. It is also worth mentioning the success of the C4 model in the WRC Rally Championship - here the C4 car replaced the multiple winner Citroen Xsara WRC model. Citroen fans certainly didn’t disappoint - Sebastien Loeb won the championship again in 2007 and 2008 (winning 4 and 5 times in a row!) And retained the title of the most successful WRC championship racer of all time.
